Mr. Nowak is an accredited geothermal installer through the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) as well as a current member. He has also completed his Installation and Service Technician Training for ground source heat pumps through Enertech, Inc. He has been certified in fusion methods of polyethylene pipe through Centennial Plastics, LLC and Phoenix Energy Supply. He is a member in good standing with both the IGSHPA and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). He has also completed numerous other geothermal installation and design courses throughout Massachusetts with Heatspring Energy, Inc. Mr. Nowak is also a Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), with whom he is also a member.
In the past Mr. Nowak has had experience in the Civil Engineering field as a project engineer, preparing numerous residential subdivisions, site grading designs, site drainage analysis/design, as well as private road layout. His design work includes the site work for a Government building in upstate New York seeking a LEED Silver Certification which incorporates a closed-loop geothermal system to condition the building.
