Coneco is a preferred provider of on-call environmental and ecological services to National Grid. National Grid routinely asks Coneco to assess the resource area status of various maintenance and upgrade projects in their electric transmission, electric distribution, substation, and natural gas delivery systems. Coneco performs GIS and on-the-ground assessments of the resource areas, coordinates with the appropriate federal, state, and local agencies, and prepares regulatory permit application materials for National Grid. Coneco attends meetings and public hearing on the projects representing National Grid's interests.
