Emergency Response

Coneco has provided oversight of emergency and initial response action activities associated with two releases of mineral oil dielectric fluid that occurred from two pad-mounted electrical transformers formerly in use at the Site.  Soil and groundwater were impacted by the releases.  Response actions completed at the Site have been performed pursuant to Env-Or 605 of the New Hampshire Code of Administrative Rules (NHCAR).  To date, response actions conducted by Coneco have included management of remedial activities during the initial emergency response, assessment of post-excavation soil conditions, installation via direct-push drilling and/or vacuum excavation techniques of five groundwater monitoring wells, quarterly sampling of said monitoring wells, management of remedial activities associated with the second emergency response, and assessment of post-remediation soil and groundwater conditions at the Site.  In addition, Coneco has prepared all regulatory reports for the Site required by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services pursuant to Env-Or 605.06 of the NHCAR.
