In May of 2009, work commenced on the vertical closed loop geothermal system for a single family home in Winchester, MA. The existing home that was damaged in a fire was retrofitted with ductwork for forced air heating and cooling, and radiant floor tubing for floor warming. Two WaterFurnace heat pumps provide the heating and cooling energy for the home. The system was designed to meet the criteria for the 30% uncapped tax credit.
